Hospital Outreach Update — Asaba Federal Medical Centre & St Joseph Hospital

El-Rishon volunteers offering prayer and care at a hospital outreach

On 28 June, by the grace and mercy of God, El-Rishon Evangelical Foundation carried out a hospital outreach at Asaba Delta State Federal Medical Centre and St Joseph Hospital as part of our commitment to sharing the love of Christ through compassion, prayer, and practical support.

This outreach was a beautiful reminder that the gospel is not only preached in words, but also demonstrated through love, kindness, giving, and service. As a mission, we believe that reaching out to the sick, the vulnerable, and those going through difficult seasons is part of our calling to reflect the heart of Jesus Christ.

During the visit, our team reached out to patients and families with encouragement, prayer, and support. We also donated essential items to assist both patients and hospital management. These included surfactants, groceries, bed sheets, gloves, and other care items. Where possible, we also provided support toward medical bills for some patients.

The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, compassion, and hope. Many patients and families were encouraged, and we thank God for the opportunity to be a blessing in a place where many people are waiting for healing, strength, and comfort.

This outreach was not just about giving items; it was about showing people that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten. It was an opportunity to stand with those in need, pray with them, and remind them of the love and faithfulness of God.

We are especially grateful to everyone who prayed, gave, served, and supported this outreach in one way or another. Your kindness helped make this mission possible, and we believe that every seed sown into the lives of others will bring forth a harvest of blessing.

At El-Rishon Evangelical Mission, we remain committed to hospital outreach, community support, soul winning, and compassionate service. Our desire is to continue reaching lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ while also meeting practical needs where possible.

We give all glory to God for a successful outreach and for the lives touched on 28 June. We trust that this is only the beginning of greater works ahead.

To God alone be all the glory.

Support the next outreach.

Your gift helps us reach more patients, families, and communities with hope.
